BBMzansi2015

Big Brother the most loved and cherished show all around .What is it with this show that  makes everyone  to be so obsessed with it, be it old or young .Is it the fights, madness, laughter or relationships made in the show that makes people so intrigue into the show.
Twitter is always a buzz as fans and supporters of different teams battle it out in voting their favourites to win and stay in the house. Has anyone ever wondered who is this Big Brother.
I must say season 2 of this show has been the most interesting so far when compared to the BBA which includes certain African countries. The where many pitfalls with this show ,the disqualification of contestants Bexx and Adams ,am still puzzled about their exit. But who cares life goes on hey ...
This season was called double trouble but did it live up to the expectation's and standard of the show .Well you can judge cause I honestly feel the double trouble couple where  evicted the first week.
Lol we all have favourites and I loved and cherished Ace and Ntombi ,they are special and I mean unique ....laughter gallo.....
This show is the best and people should keep on watching and supporting big brother.....
Who will win season2?  AceNtombi or K2Blue or Mbalsea??????

THE NEW KID ON THE BLOCK!

The impact of social media

This is a delayed post because I did not know which angle to take when writing about Mr Nyovest. At first I really did not get the hype around this new kid on the block ….Yes I have been hearing about him here and there but what is really interesting about him? I have seen the good and bad, the ups and downs of some local hip hop artist’s success stories and pitfalls but what is it about Cassper? Well stick around and read this post about Cassper Nyovest.

If it was not for social media we all would not really know this artists and what they get up to. Social media is the drug that gets us to engage and interacts with our favorite artists I mean we get to know their ins and out of their daily lives by clicking on the net at any particular time. As the net keeps evolving and playing a very important role in our lives, social networks in particular twitter has rapidly been the most effective way that Cassper has been using in spreading the word.

AKA and Cassper Nyovest
This 24 year old has had his share of online squabbles and spats with other hip hop artists; the likes of K.O and AKA .Many may say that social media has changed Cassper to the worst as the tweeter streets it’s where he boast and like creating beef. Social media beef is not cool hey I don’t care who does it even if you’re the minister of sport and recreation. I mean if you have a problem with someone why don’t you talk it out. But not Cassper he even dissed his opponents in one of his track “beef” I mean your way better than that man.

"Amanda wasn't tailored for me" !

Mmmmmmh did you hear? The cushy couple that was known to be the new power couple in Mzansi seem to have broken apart. It was Casspers performance during the #MMA14 that shocked a lot of people when he said "even Amanda Du Point wasn't tailored for me" that sure raised a lot of eyebrows. The twitter streets went buzzing after that performance. It shows how big of an influence social media is, he was trending in no time. Though I feel it was so unnecessary for him to say such I mean dude keep your private life private.
Cassper and Amanda

It is important that we as stakeholders understand the importance of social media in our lives. The good and the bad that it can do to one’s reputation. If you’re in the public eye it is very easy for people to twist your words and that’s where we come in as public relations practitioners, in setting up a good image for the person we are representing. Cassper needs a good PR team behind him so Cassper I suggest you hook up with me lol!!!!Check out Casspers video of the song "phuma kim"

The future of journalism in the world of social media

The drug called social media that we all addicted to..........

The world of social media

Is social media a word of mouth on drugs that journalists feel like they have been side-lined and pushed out in their own comfortable industry. Well the answer is yes journalists are very invisible   and very much not needed by public relations practitioners the digital age has swallowed and chewed journalism. Many may say it is not dead but merely just adapting to this new drug called social media.

Public relations practitioners no longer have to rely on journalist as they can convey their own public relations campaigns through social networks to get through their target audience. Journalists nowadays depend on social media to receive and distribute news and that questions their value of credibility like a Citizen journalist that only relied on tweets when making reference for a story.

social media has arrived
I honestly feel that social media is here to stay and it gives the voiceless and unknown a chance to speak and also for them to participate. We as public relations practitioners can blog, tweet and Facebook anything and anything all  day every day and that makes our job easier than having to wait for a story from journalist and end up being out-scooped by other media houses.

We need social media more than journalists as this opens doors for public relations companies to interact with other PR companies and to share ideas. Not a lot of people go and buy newspaper or have the time to watch news all the time and wait for the time when news will eventually appear on television, and boom social media comes to the rescuer. I mean social media is conversational for example the recent #SONA2015 debate was on fire on tweeter buzzing like a bee am sure journalists had little to write about on news.

The fun that comes with social media

A funny picture from twitter .source;the reaction in memes.
We need social media more than journalists as this opens doors for public relations companies to interact with other PR companies and to share ideas.
